12 And because the harbor was not suitable for wintering, the majority reached a decision to set sail from there, if somehow they could arrive at Phoenix, a harbor of (A)Crete facing southwest and northwest, to spend the winter there.
13 And when a moderate [a]south wind came up, thinking that they had attained their purpose, they weighed anchor and began (B)sailing along [b]the shore of (C)Crete.

14 But before very long there (D)rushed down from [c]the land a violent wind, called [d]Euraquilo;
